CHRISTOPHER P. BENTON received his masters and
doctorate degrees in mathematics from the University of Houston,
and he has taught college level mathematics full time since 1984.
He has also held the position of Director of Institutional Effectiveness
and Research at Alvin Community College in Alvin, TX, and he is
a past president of the Texas Association for Institutional Research.
Dr. Benton was a member of Congregation Emanu El in Houston, TX,
where he additionally served on their Board of Directors and as
Chair of the Adult Continuing Education Committee. Currently,
Dr. Benton teaches mathematics at Scottsdale Community College
in Scottsdale, AZ, where he lives with his beloved wife, Susan,
and their dog, Dr. Chloe Continuum, Do.G. (doctor of growlology).
